Wycombe Abbey seeks a Communications and Marketing Manager to join the School’s Communications and Marketing Department. This is an exciting time to join the School as we expand internationally, fundraise for projects as part of our Estates Masterplan and as we secure our place as the best girls’ boarding school in the UK.

The Communications and Marketing team is responsible for delivering impactful audience-focused content in-line with the School’s Communications and Marketing strategy and to support the School’s Strategic Direction.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects, possess outstanding editing and proofreading skills and ideally have experience working with design packages such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop and the wider Adobe Suite.

The Communications and Marketing team is responsible for enhancing engagement with prospective families, current parents, alumnae, staff and the wider community through high-quality, audience-focused communications.

The role encompasses website management, digital content creation, campaign delivery, photography and film coordination, and the production of key School publications. The successful candidate will combine excellent copywriting and project management skills with creativity, attention to detail and a strong understanding of brand management across multiple channels.

Reports to: Director of Communications and Marketing.

Contract: This is a full-time, permanent contract. The first three months will be a probationary period.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. Hours include a one-hour unpaid lunch break. A flexible approach is required, as some out-of-hours working will be necessary to support School activities and events. Hybrid working and other working patterns will be considered.

Holiday: 30 days per annum, plus bank holidays.

Salary: £35,700 – £45,150 per annum, depending on experience.
