An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and accomplished marketing professional to join one of the world's leading independent schools as Internal Marketing Manager.
As Internal Marketing Manager at Benenden, you will play an important role in shaping how we communicate, engage and connect with our school community. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will lead a varied portfolio of internal marketing and communications activity, ensuring that our families enjoy an engaging, informative and high-quality communications experience.
From producing publications and developing our Parent Portal to overseeing major events, you will bring creativity, consistency and attention to detail to everything we do. You will also support the promotion of Hemsted Park, our professional performing arts provider, and contribute to the school’s wider marketing strategy, deputising for the Head of Marketing when required.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position, expected to run until January 2028.
The working hours are 27.5 hours per week, all year round.
About You
We are looking for a versatile, imaginative and highly organised marketing professional with exceptional writing and editorial skills and proven experience of producing high-quality publications.
You will be confident managing multiple projects and deadlines, building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and developing engaging communications for different audiences. A proactive, collaborative approach and strong digital skills are essential, alongside the judgement and adaptability to thrive in a busy environment.
Experience of event management, content management systems or leading colleagues would be advantageous. Above all, you will bring enthusiasm, fresh ideas and a genuine interest in helping us tell the stories that make Benenden such a distinctive place to learn and work.
