This 2 day workshop runs Wed 14 - Thu 15 October 2026. The AMCIS Diploma in Schools' Marketing is recognised by independent schools as the only sector specific qualification for marketeers, the Diploma is highly regarded and sought after.
As the sector has evolved, so has the role of marketing in schools, and as such the Diploma in Schools' Marketing delivers the most cutting edge, relevant, informative and up to date course for those looking to gain experience and knowledge of marketing in the Independent Schools sector today.
Developed as a course for those currently working in marketing roles in an independent school, candidates need to be mindful that the assignments are relevant to marketing and communications and require input and data directly from these departments.
AMCIS has passed the rigorous assessment process for our training activities to become an accredited CPD provider. This accreditation sets us apart as a trusted provider of CPD-accredited training and enables us to issue formal CPD certificates post-training courses, ensuring delegates can achieve mandatory and reflective CPD requirements.

Senior Consultant, RSAcademics
An experienced Admissions professional, Cat Sutherland-Hawes is passionate about helping schools recognise the importance of Admissions and the part it plays in the wider life of the school.
Cat started her working life in the House of Commons, as PA and Chief of Staff to a number of Conservative MPs, before moving on to work in the household of the then Prince of Wales in St James’s Palace. The daughter of teachers, she moved from public life into the education sector as Director of Admissions at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith. After 14 years there she moved to Wycombe Abbey as Director of Admissions, leaving in September 2022 to spend more time with family – both at the elderly end and a first grandchild. Cat then joined RS Academics as a Senior Consultant, advising schools on admissions strategies and carrying out recruitment of admissions and marketing roles. Cat also works for Oppidan Education as Head of Schools Advisory, talking to parents about school choices.
